Matthew King, Ph.D.

Dr. Matthew King
Assistant Professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics

The King Lab's research centers on the intrinsically disordered regions (IDRs) of proteins. They investigate how IDRs interact with one another and how local chemical properties of nuclear bodies shape these solvent-exposed regions to potentiate biochemical reactions that are relevant to healthy aging in cells, including neurons.
