Dr. Anne Granger is the Director of Research in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics at Weill Cornell Medicine. Her career spans academia, publishing, and industry, driven by a passion for advancing scientific discovery, connecting people and ideas, and empowering researchers to make a meaningful impact.  

Before joining Weill Cornell, she served as Editor-in-Chief at BioRender, shaping how complex science is communicated to a global audience. She also led the global postdoctoral program in the Research division at Novartis and previously served as Senior Scientific Editor at Cell Metabolism. Dr. Granger conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, studying cardiovascular biology and diabetes after earning her PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris.
